BILL KROPP - LEAD COACH

Coach Bill Kropp has 35 years of volleyball coaching experience.  He currently serves as Head Varsity Coach of Sachem East after founding the boys volleyball program at Sachem in 1989.  He has coached 38 Varsity seasons (Boys and Girls) and has accumulated over 575 career wins.  In his many years at Sachem Coach Kropp’s programs have won 25 League Championships  (18 Boys, 7 Girls), 8 Suffolk County Championships (5 Boys, 3 Girls), a Boys Long Island Championship in 2013.  In addition to his extensive H.S. experience he was coached at the collegiate level for SUNY Stony Brook and LIU Southampton.  He also has over 10 years of experience coaching Club Volleyball highlighted by a National Top 10 finish at the 17U level in 2013.  Coach Kropp has also served as the Head Coach for the Long Island Region in the Empire State Games, winning a Gold Medal in the scholastic division.  Coach Kropp has served as President of the Suffolk County Boys Volleyball Coaches Association for over a decade and has served as Director of the SYAG Volleyball Camp for the last 23 years.
