Softball Skills Camp at Molloy College


Dayna White, the Assistant Coach for the Molloy College Women's Softball team is hosting a special girls summer softball camp.  This camp is an opportunity for softball players to fine tune their skills with two sessons available.  See below for more details:
 

SKILLS CLINIC

Clinic will focus on hitting, fielding, throwing, and outfield drills. (No pitching)

DATE: July 9-12, 2018 (rain date, July 13th)
TIME:  Time varires by age, see below;

  • 9am-12pm, ages 12 & below
  • 1pm - 4pm, ages 13 & up

LOCATION:  RVC Sports Complex, Rockville Centre
COST:  $175


PITCHING & SKILLS CLINIC

Limited to 12 players per session, this camp includes a 45 minute small group pitching lesson during the 3 hour skills clinic. Will focus on mechanics, speed, and pitch development.

  • 9am-12pm, ages 12 & below
  • 1pm - 4pm, ages 13 & up

REGISTRATION

Registering is easy, simply:

  • Download and complete the camp waiver (must be turned in on the first day of camp)
  • Write a check for the camp fee (please write the players name on the check) - Checks are payable to Academy Sports of Long Island, Inc. and should be brought to the first day of camp.

CAMP DIRECTOR

Dayna White
(Molloy College Assistant Coach)

In June 2014, Molloy College Head Softball Coach Susan Cassidy-Lyke announced the hiring of Dayna White to join the Lions as an assistant coach. White returns to Molloy after playing four years for the Lions from 2011-14.

White racked up numerous awards and recognition over her four-year tenure in Rockville Centre. She was part of four teams that reached the East Coast Conference Championship tournament, the 2013 squad that went to the College World Series, and two squads that advanced to the NCAA Division II East Super Regional.

White was a member of three ECC Championship teams. In her senior year, White was named to the All- ECC First Team and the NFCA All-East Region Second Team.
